Our wrestling family is strong. Year after year the Wolfpack comes together to support one another. Our alumni share their stories, wisdom, and time with our young scholar athletes.
On March 15, 2025 Coach Jeffrey Gibbons was inducted into the Boston Latin School Athletics Hall of Fame. Thank you to all who supported his nomination with your stories, presence, and beautiful letters.
Coach Gibbons has transformed the wrestling program into a respected force in Massachusetts, promoting a culture of sportsmanship, grit, and academic excellence. His achievements extend beyond the mat; as an English teacher, mentor, and leader, he has profoundly impacted the lives of countless scholar athletes, inspiring them to strive for greatness in all areas of life. Coach Gibbons’ exemplary tenure embodies the Hall of Fame’s mission to honor members of the Wolfpack family who bring distinction and respect to our school’s storied athletic tradition. His achievements in coaching, leadership, and community-building set a benchmark for excellence, earning him this recognition that embodies the spirit of the Wolfpack.
Earning 100 career victories in high school wrestling is a remarkable achievement—and reaching that milestone with 100 pins is even more extraordinary. We want to recognize and celebrate wrestlers who have accomplished either feat. If you or someone you know achieved 100 wins or 100 pins during their Boston Latin School high school wrestling career, please email us with the wrestler’s name, graduation year, and any supporting information so we can ensure they receive the recognition they deserve.
