Wrestling is a winter sport, in-season and post-season activities span Winter and February break respectively and are required. You must have a valid health physical to register for winter sports before the season begins.
Middle school wrestlers have a variety of opportunities to compete and develop throughout the season. Coaches provide live match opportunities during the JV portion of dual meets whenever possible, and several tournaments are designed specifically for 7th and 8th graders. Through our partnership with Beat the Streets New England (BTSNE), middle school wrestlers also receive coaching and support at tournaments, Sectionals, States, and New England Championships. Working closely with Coach Shepard Vargo and BTSNE staff, our wrestlers benefit from additional practice opportunities and guidance that help prepare them for a successful transition to high school.
